Workplace ranking website greatplacetowork.ie has revealed their rankings of the best places to work in Ireland in 2020.

In an awards ceremony in Dublin on Wednesday night, the website named 87 workplaces — split into Small, Medium and Large categories — as the country’s top-ranking places to work.

The criteria for being awarded as a great place to work depends on a number of factors put forward by greatplacetowork.ie — including credibility, respect, camaraderie, development, hiring methods and celebrating successes.

The best large company to work for in 2020, as named this week, is AbbVie Ireland, an international biopharmaceutical company, with three manufacturing facilities in Sligo and Cork, and two offices in Dublin.

The best medium company to work for has been named as Cisco, an information technology company which has locations in Dublin and Galway.
