Lived-in, luxe hair, chic chignons, swooping liner and intricate nail art; these are the AW21 London Fashion Week beauty trends you'll actually want to wear.

Following the last five days of feathers, tulle and sequins at London Fashion Week, you might be looking forward to AW21 as a (fingers-crossed) restriction-free season where you very much do intend on wearing ballgowns everywhere you go. Well, you can get started on your AW21 look now with the best of London Fashion Week’s beauty trends, with intricate nail art to attempt to DIY at home, gleaming glossy hair and, well maybe not swooping eyeliner just yet, but you can certainly get practicing.

Here are the beauty looks from London Fashion Week you’ll absolutely want to wear.

LIVED IN, LUXE HAIR

At Victoria Beckham, hair was glossy, expensive and a little bit worn. “The inspiration behind the look is really about celebrating the girl’s individuality by looking at their hair and not really changing it too much. It’s a very easy and doable look which is totally achievable at home,’’ says hairdresser Anthony Turner, who used the ghd pick me up root lift spray and platinum styler to give the hair texture. ”Overall, it had to be very natural looking and healthy looking, with incredible shine. It’s a little more relaxed, there’s a sense of ease of wearability.”

INTRICATE NAIL ART

With just two weeks left until you can adorn yourself in all the tulle, pearl detailing and plastic fantastic jewellery at Simone Rocha AW21 via her H&M collaboration, get started on your new Simone Rocha wardrobe by practising on your nails. Intricate, detailed little roses were adorned on the Simone Rocha AW21 collection, embroidered on tulle, painted on pearls and drawn on nails atop a nude base by nail artist Ama Quashie. Try it yourself at home, if you have a steady hand, or screenshot now for your next post-lockdown nail appointment.

SWOOPING LINER

Goodbye, cat eye. The new way to wear an eyeliner flick is under the eye and to play with negative space, as per Erdem AW21. “The 1948 film, The Red Shoes, which tells the story of a ballerina, was a source of inspiration for this season’s Erdem collection. I wanted to create a look that evoked the feeling that dancers experience during a performance,” said Jane Richardson, Nars Global Artistry Director, who used Nars Via Veneto High Pigment Longwear Eyeliner to create the look. “We worked to capture the colour, and elongated, expressive lines in all three of the beauty looks for Erdem.”

CHIC CHIGNONS

Finally, when your roots are ungodly and your hair is in desperate need of a trim, look to Emilia Wickstead’s Grace Kelly-inspired chic, slick chignons to get your hair feeling glossy and neat again.“We wanted the hair to bring that beautiful old world cinematic style to life,” said Emilia Wickstead. “Everything is very smooth, very straight, it feels very luxe.”
