The Brit Awards are very much akin to The Grammys when it comes to the sartorial choices; it’s fashion that is vibrant, bold and a little risky.  Think less formal than the Oscars, more fun than the Golden Globes for an award season point of reference.

And this year, the best of musical talent graced the red carpet in London in hopes of taking home a statuette. The men looked sharp in colourful, immaculately tailored suits – hats off to Shawn Mendes and Sam Smith for not shying away from colour – but it was the women that served the best looks of the evening.

Dua Lipa was eye-catching in a two-toned Christopher Kane, Florence Welch does etherial almost better than anyone and presenter Maya Jama’s over-sized tulle gown only works on evenings such as this one. Model Winnie Harlow’s florals also certainly stood out amongst Suki Waterhouse’s sheer frills.

See the looks in our gallery above.
