Instant Highlights can be used with L’Oréal Professionnel’s Smartbond technology, which is a two-step process which allows your colourist to protect the hair and prevent damage and is recommended for anyone undergoing a colour or lightening service from extreme colour transformations to subtle colour changes and first-time colourers who are worried about damage. The heating iron used with Instant Highlights has a lower temperature of your typical straightener, at 140 °C, so this is about as damage-free as hair dyeing gets.
