From baskets to chairs, we’re craving the natural texture and tones that woven pieces bring.

Adding natural textures is always a great way to help your home feel layered and interesting. Materials such as rattan, jute and seagrass keep popping up in our favourite interior stores recently, and it’s hard to deny their charm.

As well as their soft tones that work with almost any colour scheme, their woven textures not only look beautiful, but add a wonderful tactility wherever they’re placed. Here are 25 pieces we’ve spotted recently, whether you’re after a new lightshade, or a hardwearing rug.

Chairs

Habra Chair, €569, Woo .Design

One of the most iconic uses of rattan, chairs are a great way to show off the intricate weaves of this, and other natural materials, whether you go for an everyday dining chair or something to lounge in.

Storage

Storage cane basket, €72, April and the Bear

Woven baskets and boxes are great to have around the house, perfect for storing everything from kids’ toys to throws and cushions.

Lights

Round bamboo pendant, €395, Industry & Co

Woven lampshades not only add texture to a room, but they can also create a wonderful dappled effect when illuminated.

Rugs

Non-slip jute rug, €45.99, Zara Home

Jute, sisal, seagrass and raffia are all hardwearing materials for rugs, and are great for high-traffic areas in your home like hallways and the kitchen.

Accessories

From your table to your living room, woven accessories will add a touch of texture, and a relaxed mood.
