Florist Joeanna Caffrey will help you settle into the Christmas season this week with an exclusive wreath-making class in Avoca, Dunboyne. Joeanna will demonstrate how to create the perfect festive designs for your home in a bespoke floral masterclass at her pop-up in Avoca this coming Tuesday, December 5th. The Gifted Contemporary Craft and Design Fair takes places this coming week in the RDS, Dublin, and will showcase Ireland’s leading creators of beautiful, eco-friendly and ethical garments with cutting-edge designs. Formerly known as the National Crafts and Design Fair, it celebrates more than 600 Irish designers and makers, ranging from fashion and jewellery design to art and traditional toy-making. This year’s event also includes a spectacular Christmas food emporium featuring over 120 artisan food producers, taste-tempting visitors with the best of the season’s fare. This December, Farmleigh, located in Dublin’s Phoenix Park, will be home to a wonderful array of markets, live cribs, Christmas reindeer, story-telling and more. The Dublin Flea Christmas Market returns to The Point Square this coming week and will officially open on Thursday, December 7th, through to Sunday, December 10th. Running from 1 pm to 8 pm Thursday and Friday, and 11 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday, this free-entry, indoor, Christmas market it will host a whopper collection of over 140 stalls selling a unique mix of festive gifts. Alongside the Dublin Flea’s much-loved mix of vintage and collectables, the market hosts an unbelievable collection of independent Irish craft-makers, designers and artists that you cannot find readily on the high street.
