**CANCELLED** The IMAGE PodClub TRUE CRIME Edition

Taking place in Luna restaurant on Monday the 22nd of October, IMAGE.ie invites you to a very spooky instalment of the IMAGE PodClub

In keeping with what is always the scariest month of the year, this month’s PodClub will be centred around the all-popular niche genre of TRUE CRIME podcasts.

From Serial to West Cork; S-Town to Teacher’s Pet, we are MAD about true crime podcasts, and from the looks of things, so are you.

As such, we’re inviting you to share your recommendations about the shows you love, all whilst delving into the psychology behind why we love them so much.

Tickets available here

We’ll have a very special guest panel to help us explore the macabre nature of true crime, including:

Joanna Fortune

Accredited Psychotherapist, Author and TEDx speaker

Sophie White

Author, IMAGE.ie Contributor, die-hard true crime podcast enthusiast

// Mon Oct 22nd @ 6.30pm // Luna Restaurant // €25 //

Guests will be treated to a cocktail upon arrival, alongside delicious finger food before the evening’s proceedings begin.

Tickets are limited, so get yours here today

…Wait, what is a Podclub, exactly?

The whole idea for the IMAGE PodClub came from a realisation that the world has become obsessed with podcasts, with people devouring shows with as much delight as they would their all-time favourite book. And yet, whilst every Susan, Sinead and Shania is now running their own book club, there is nowhere for podcast enthusiasts to come together (or at least, not in an organised setting).

We wanted to create a space where podcast lovers could come join up and chat about their favourite shows, explore the issues raised, and generally enjoy the same fun of a book club – but for podcasts.

We are so excited to run these monthly PodClub events, so keep an eye out on IMAGE.ie where we will be announcing each month’s theme. Every niche of podcast, from “Comedy” to “Parenting” will get its time to shine!
