A fun-filled flashback to the?inaugural Dublin Design Night, organised by Yelp Dublin and your own Image Interiors & Living…

So, the first ever Dublin Design Night happened last night and the city centre came alive with the chatter of happy interiors shoppers. In amongst the various design and crafts workshops and demos on offer, cocktails were imbibed, taster plates devoured, discounts snapped up… and nine of the city’s best interiors and gardening stores got to shoot the breeze with?customers old and new.

ICYMI, here’s a flashback to what went down on last night’s super-fun design trail, the first of many, we hope…

Season-appropriate mini pumpkins and squashes at floral favourite Appassionata Flowers.

Find in Temple Bar was well worth finding, with gorgeous?gratis?grapefruit cocktails on offer.

Delectable discounts were available in each of the night’s nine design venues.

Dyflin + Designgoat launched a truly unique chair plus magazine rack, unveiled at Indigo & Cloth last night (pictured below).

In Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, Article (below) and The Garden?(above) got in on the action with sumptuous homewares and stunning succulents respectively.

Clover Rua?gave a screenprinting masterclass at Article – and budding screenprinters got to take home their own prints.

A little bird told us blogger Rincy Koshy?was about – she got framed for a Yelp photocall.

Did we mention there were discounts?

A helpful Yelper was on hand to spraypaint ‘Dublin’ keepsake prints.

Irish Design Shop offered Jameson cocktails to celebrate the launch of their new jewellery collection (pictured are designs in progress upstairs in their workshop).

Ruth from Appassionata showed crowds of floral fans how to make beautiful seasonal bouquets for bottles.

A young design fan hung out in Industry, where punters enjoyed homemade tomato meatballs with almonds and couscous and floral and min-flavoured rum cocktails (below).

Mmmmm…

Turntables and tunes at The Irish Times‘ best gifts/crafts/design interiors shop of the year, Industry.

Designist served up super-charged slushies to fuel Design Nighters along the city trail.

At Jam Art Factory, people queued up to watch Donegal artist Jacob Stack‘demonstrate his skills.

We went home clutching our customised souvenirs, courtesy of Yelp and Clover Rua.

Were you there last night? If so, you have till midnight?tonight to review the event on Yelp and upload your own pics using the Yelp app, to be in with a chance to win some?gorgeous goodies!

Click through the gallery above to see a sample of your (and our) pictures from last night, but we’ll be picking our favourites in the next few days and announcing the winners!
