Who better to give us her London Design Week insight than Irish designer Danielle Reid? Owner of Folklore, a hip and innovative interiors store in Islington, she’s at the heart of the London design scene.

* Design Junction: In its third year, this critically acclaimed exhibition is fast becoming a highlight of London Design Week. Set in a former post office in Holborn and running over three floors, it is made up of a mix of leading global brands alongside smaller cutting-edge labels, design shops, installations, pop-up eateries, flash factories and a cultural talks programme.

* Wrong for Hay and Peckham Refreshment Rooms: Taking place in a recently renovated Gentlemen’s Club in St James? Park, check out design and furnishings by new launch Wrong for Hay while sampling food and drinks from the people behind Franks in Peckham.

* The New Craftsmen Garage: Showcasing homegrown craftsmanship in a back street garage with a focus on sustainable, real luxury, expressed through dedication to makers, materials, method and design, this is a Design Week must.
