Considering some home improvement? Raise money for charity while getting expert advice

If you’re considering contacting an architect about a home project, now is a great time to do it. The annual partnership between the RIAI and the Simon Communities, RIAI Simon Open Door, means members of the public can secure a one-hour consultation with an architect in exchange for a donation of just €90. All funds raised will go directly to the homeless charity.

RIAI registered architects can help with general issues such as extensions, new builds, planning queries, or renovating your home, and a consultation is a great place to start planning your project. Slots are available to book from May 14 – 20.

Architect Dermot Bannon is advising those who are interested to book as soon as possible, as slots are filling up rapidly, with many practices’ appointments entirely sold out. Below are ten architects taking part in the initiative across the country.
