Celebrate NYE at Opium

If there’s one way to kick off the New Year in a positive manner, it’s by joining the gang at Opium this New Year’s Eve. As the ideal festive escape from the cold, Opium is inviting guests to arrive on December 31st for a 3 course Pan-Asian meal like no other, alongside a generous helping of bubbly.

Sharing Starters

A selection of opium starters; crab cakes, chicken satay, veg spring rolls, green curry samosas, chicken larb and prawn gyoza all accompanied by house sauces.

Mains (Chosen Individually)

Claypot Lamb

Slow braised Massaman lamb curry with baby potatoes, onion, cardamom, star anise and fried shallots.

Beef Rendang

Malay style tender beef curry flavoured with lemongrass, galangal and roast young coconut.

Red Chicken Curry

Coconut curry with Thai basil, bamboo shoots, peppers and fine beans.

Green Halibut Curry

Thai aubergine, sweet basil, fine beans and bamboo shoots.

Shaking Beef

Marinated beef fillet wokked with red onion and mange tout in a soy, Mirin and Shioxing sauce.

Chicken Lemongrass

Sliced breast of chicken wokked with lemongrass paste, roast chilli, peppers and courgettes.

Chicken Cashew

Roast cashew, chilli paste, garlic, onion, peppers, button mushroom and scallion in a house soy sauce.

Scallop & Prawn

Tiger prawns & Irish scallops with mange tout, Asian greens and XO sauce.

Singapore Noodles

Fine egg noodles, scallion, bean sprout and carrot with a choice of chicken, BBQ pork, prawn or tofu.
