Nail salons reopened their doors to the public earlier this week and between getting our hair done and our talons preened, we’ve never felt more put together in all our lives. To think we used to have such luxuries readily available to us all the time.

These days, I’m lucky if I manage to put on something other than loose-fitting loungewear (I’m still in that phase of lockdown), but there’s little more powerful than a fresh set of nails and I’ve been inspired to go all out and even throw on some jewellery in honour of the occasion too. Cue the cast of Wild Child shouting “who are we?!” in the background.
