Our pick of Beauty Baubles to hang from your tree

Our pick of Beauty Baubles to hang from your tree

Decorating the tree truly signals the start of the festive season. Once you plug in those fairy lights you are officially allowed to crack open the Bailey’s and tune in to Christmas FM.  Some people like glittering reindeer and sparkly snowflakes hanging from the tree, but we are quite partial to a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick or a fancy bath oil perched in its branches. No need to look any further for inspiration as we have you covered from budget buys, to all out Christmas lux.

Chapped lips are not a great look with a festive red pout so some lip rescue may be needed. We love this trio of the brands most loved products including their Pomegranate Lip Balm, a Peony Lip Shimmer and a Hibiscus Tinted Lip Balm. Diptyque Surprise Pocket Do Son & Tuberose; £38.00 at spacenk.com

For something a little fancier why not splash out on this set from Diptyque? A great gift for a fragrance lover and with packaging this nice you’ll want to keep it hanging on your tree. We are big fans of the small rollerball perfumes too, as they’re great for traveling.

Real Techniques 2 Mini Miracle Sponges; €8.00 at boots.ie

Why is everything in miniature so much cuter? We love the original Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, but this set of minis is too adorable to pass up. The smaller size makes them great for blending that tricky under eye area.

MINI HOLLYWOOD LIQUID LIPSTICK CHARMS ; €21.00 at charlottetilbury.com

Charlotte Tilbury can do no wrong when it comes to packaging, and these lipstick ornaments this is no exception. Containing two of her Hollywood matte liquid lipsticks in the most popular shades; Too Bad I’m Bad and Show Girl. We’ll be adding this to our list, pronto.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Gift Set; €8.00 at boots.ie

This is an almost fail safe stocking filler at Christmas for your Granny, your sister, you Mum or as a Kris Kindle gift. The scent is sweet but not sickly, and the rich, buttery texture is a life saver for dry winter skin.

Laura Mercier Luxe Indulgences Hand & Body Creme Collection; €34.00 at brownthomas.com

This pack of four hand creams is slightly bigger than most other ornaments and may need an extra large tree to be hung from (we’re sure you’ll find a way). Containing four of  Laura Mercier’s best selling hand creams in different scents they are rich and guaranteed to stave off dry hands. We can vouch that the Almond Coconut Milk one smells incredible, and will remind you of summer holidays in the depths of January.

BY TERRY Baume De Rose Tree Decoration £20.00 at cultbeauty.co.uk

This is not just any old bauble to hang off the tree, this is the iconic By Terry Baume de Rose. The lip balms to beat all others this is a gorgeous treat to find on the tree (Santa can you hear me?).

Benefit Hoola Mini Stocking Stuffer; £12.50 at cultbeauty.co.uk

Probably Benefit’s most iconic product, and for good reason. Hoola is a non-shimmery bronzer that looks great swept all over the face in dull winter months to warm up your complexion, it also doubles up as a great neutral eyeshadow too!

Molton Brown Festive Bauble Gift Set; €27.90b at arnotts.ie

If you want your beauty decorations to blend in with the rest of your tree then these Molton Brown Baubles are a must. Famous for their gorgeous smelling soaps (no fancy hotel bathroom can be without) this is a trio of Christmas scents; Muddled Plum, Frankincense & Allspice as well as Fiery Pink Pepper.

Sarah Chapman Overnight Glow; £15.00 at spacenk.com

The words ‘overnight glow’ most certainly appeal to us at this time of year. Late nights, and one too many hot ciders can leave your skin looking lacklustre. Sarah Chapman’s Overnight Facial is an amazing product for giving your skin a boost when you most need it. Layer this on and wake up looking fresh, plump and like you’ve had a full nights beauty sleep.
