3 Shoe Trends to Dominate in 2015

With last year’s flatform/jelly shoe trend on the wane (seriously, thank heavens. There’s only so much white plastic our feet, and eyes, can take), we’re turning our attention to the styles of footwear that are set to dominate in 2015.

On the more flattering end of the scale, we’ve got the ankle boot with a pointed toe. No complaints there. They’re the kind of boot that will work in any season. What’s more, they’re the kind of boot that will happily see us through from the office to the watering hole.

On the not so subtle side of things, we’ve got chubby looking sneakers. Needless to say, we’re not exactly enthused, as they remind us of the shell-toe shaped Adidas trainers we endured through puberty. Will these colourful, puffy creations mark as a welcome shift away from the more minimalist, functional trainers of 2014? We wait and see.

When it comes to summer footwear, it seems the gladiator sandal is back with a bang, winding around and around our legs until there is simply no leg left.
