Watch: Ed Sheeran Surprises Fan Singing his Song

If you ever needed an excuse to fall even more in love with Ed Sheeran then look no further.

While touring Canada with his new album ‘X’, Ed was doing some casual shopping in West Edmonton, Alberta when he overheard a girl singing a cover of his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and decided to just casually ‘roll up’.

Thirteen-year-old Sydney Bourbeau was performing as part of a fundraiser for the Edmonton Humane Society and got the shock of her life when the singer himself joined her onstage.

She held up much better than we would have, to borrow a term from Taylor Swift’s fans, we would have died. But they finished off the duet and her voice doesn’t waver a bit, while we’re getting bleary-eyed just watching. If singing with Ed wasn’t enough, Ed organised two tickets to his show that evening for her. The man could not get more adorable.

Ed will be gracing our Irish shores for a sold-out performance at Croke Park on July 24th.
