As a couple Chris, 38, and Jennifer, 24, tried to keep things low-key, despite their lives being the source of intense media speculation. The actress had to contend with a phone hacking and her financial dealings being made public, while the Coldplay frontman’s marriage to GOOP founder Gwyneth Paltrow still inspires tabloid articles. Their uncoupling and subsequent effort to say on good terms – they were planning a holiday with each other and their new partners – have fascinated gossip outlets. It’s been a stressful time for both parties, so the rocky nature of their relationship – they split briefly last December – is totally understandable. Jennifer is one of the hardest working actresses in Hollywood at the moment, with five major movies due to be released in the next 18 months.

However, most insiders?are suggesting that the 24-year-old Lawrence may have reconnected with her ex and X-Men?co-star Nicholas Hoult. The duo have been shooting X-Men: Apocalypse together and according to US Weekly’s source, are “on great terms now”. They dated for three years until their split last year, but remained friends. Which is something you have to do when you’re both signed up to a major Hollywood franchise, we guess. Also, we think Hoult and Lawrence were a pretty ace pairing, especially when they attended red carpet events and Nicholas let J Law hog the camera’s attention, so we’re getting behind this recoupling.
