Kerry Fashion Week has been going from strength to strength ever since its inception six years ago and its accompanying Irish Fashion Industry Awards have become a respected calendar fixture. This year we’re getting in on the act with IMAGE Breakthrough Designer Award as well as Backstage Banter, a afternoon of insider tips, tricks and tips from leading names in the fashion business on Thursday 6th of March from in the Malton Hotel, Killarney. Image Publication’s Editor-in-Chief, Melanie Morris, is also returning as Chairperson of the judging panel along with Lisa Brady of the Sunday Business Post and celebrity stylist Ingrid Hoey. The hotly anticipated awards ought to be very interesting this year with a number of new award categories looking at the modern spectrum of fashion encompassing make-up artists, stylists, photographers and bloggers. The awards ceremony will take place in the lovely environs of the Europe Hotel & Resort, Killarney, on Saturday 8th of March 2014.

Fashion Week itself is taking place from Monday 3rd to Saturday 8th of March, with a photography exhibition, ‘Love for Fashion’, penciled in as well as window dressing competition in association with The Kerryman. The Sunday Business Post are holding a Business of Fashion Seminar on March 6th while we’ll be hosting New Collections on Friday 7th of March in the Malton Hotel, Killarney.
