Bridal Inspiration: Something Blue

Bridal Inspiration: Something Blue

As tradition goes, you need something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. When it comes to the something blue, why not make it a standout ‘something’?

Opt for a hint of colour in your bridal gown, with soft, dusty blue and dove grey tones, or marble your wedding cake with swirls of cerulean and navy. If you want to keep the blue to a minimum, but still make a statement, follow in Carrie Bradshaw’s footsteps and embrace a blue wedding shoe.

Jewellery is never a bad choice for adding?a little colour – blue sapphires and delicate blue pearls are perfect. For the more daring bride, a blue belt (preferably embellished) around the waist of the dress can be stunning and unexpected.

Browse through our inspiration below and take away a few lovely little ideas for when you tie the knot.
