The top 5 holy grail beauty products, according to the experts

There’s a lot of talk about holy grail products and to silence the noise we asked five experts for theirs.

We are all on the search for the holy grail of the make-up world.

We want the very best for our faces. They are a precious blank canvas and we should treat them as such. We want lasting products, that make us feel amazing and make us realise we can’t live without them.

But with so many products on the market, how is one supposed to decipher which ones are worth our well-earned money?

Well, we found ourselves in luck recently when we sat down and talked with some make-up experts and they told us exactly where we should be putting those euros.

Chanel, Soileil Tan de Chanel

€4o, Brown Thomas

Chosen by make-up artist Judy Wong, this cream-gel bronzer is a game-changer. Leaving a velvety finish, it can be worn under or over foundation and gives a beautiful healthy glow to the skin without the harshness of usual bronzing products.

Charlotte Tilbury, Hollywood Flawless Filter

€40.00, Brown Thomas

Make-up artist Laurence Keating chose this as his product of all products. This is revolutionary in terms of make-up. It’s a primer, highlighter and a digital filter all at once. Versatile and perfecting, this will illuminate skin and make lines and pores appear smoother.

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder

€47, Arnotts

This is an ultra-defined loose powder and make-up artist John Bowe told us he is obsessed, saying: “I use it on all of my professional photoshoots as it creates a beautiful airbrushed finish on the skin with very little product”

Charlotte Tilbury, Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

€22, Brown Thomas

Make-up artist Kirstie Murphy thinks this beauty product is a secret weapon that can completely re-shape, re-size and balance your lips. The shade is universally flattering and will quickly become your go-to lip liner.

Anastasia Beverly Hills, Dipbrow Pomade

€22, Brown Thomas

Tara Donaghy believes this to be a holy grail brow product, saying “It’s a waterproof, smudge-proof liner for brows that has the most beautiful range of colours and truly lasts all day long”.
