The ultimate gift guide for a whiskey lover

Christmas is fast approaching, and I’ve already begun the search for gifts that will delight my friends and family. My criteria were simple – sumptuous, indulgent gifts that support local Irish businesses – where better to turn than Bushmills?

I need something special for my husband as his birthday falls only two days after Christmas. The Bushmills 21 Year Old whiskey, paired with a set of beautiful tumblers in which to enjoy it, is the perfect way to mark a double celebration. The Bushmills 21 Year Old is carefully aged for a minimum of 19 years in hand-picked Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels. It’s then finished for an additional two years in Madeira casks, adding a unique depth of flavour. Each bottle of this exceptional whiskey is produced in limited quantities.

My sister is a long-time whiskey drinker and this particular bottle is one she will be delighted to add to her collection. Bushmills 14 Year Old Single Malt is unmistakably different. Unlike its sherry-inspired siblings from the wider Bushmills single malt range, it’s exclusively matured in first and second-fill bourbon barrels for a minimum of 14 years, before being finished in rare Malaga casks which add a distinctively exotic fruity profile. This one’s for the adventurous spirit in your life—just like my gorgeous sister.

I love a scented candle, and this is one with a difference. Inspired by Nancy’s Pub in Ardara, Donegal, this candle captures the essence of rich teakwood and honey, highlighting the warm, deep notes of whiskey casks.
