The Shortlist Revealed

The Shortlist Revealed

As an ex-blogger myself, I was very keen to set up these awards to celebrate and champion the best Irish bloggers. I’m a firm believer in the power of blogging and the fact that it can really take you places. It can either be a hobby – a creative space where you break away from the daily grind, or on the other side it can become a step up (or a step sideways) in your career. I know that my blog certainly helped me get my job here in IMAGE, so I’m incredibly grateful for those hours I spent musing over things I loved and turning them into words.

Since we announced the IMAGE.ie blog awards we were inundated with entries and I was thrilled to see the calibre and passion of these Irish bloggers. It’s so true that blogging is a worthy barometer of what people are really thinking and doing, and these particular blogs are nailing their genres as far as we’re concerned.

The shortlist is below, we’ve loved reading through them. There are some well known blogs here as well as some new, fresh voices. Click through, have a read and then vote for your favourites.

You can vote once per category and the voting closes on September 12th. Winners of each category and the IMAGE.ie Blog Of The Year will be announced a week later.

Good luck all!
