Light As Air: Dreamy Romance Comes To Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week kicked off earlier this week, and much of the past few days (particularly earlier in the week), has’seen things start?on a light note – quite?literally in the case of many of the?SS16 shows.?Serving what is possibly?an antidote to the harsh and fast pace of the fashion calendar, designers sent out a flock of frilly, frothy dresses down the catwalk. From Gucci,?Roberto Cavalli?to Alberta Ferretti to Francesco Scognamiglio,?the dresses were a sheer and beautiful sight to behold. Much like our own Simone Rocha’s runway,?the majority of outfits were light and airy, evoking the dreamy days of summer that are to come. Think romantic but with plenty of colour and eye-catching patterns. With all this on offer in terms of fashion, we can’t wait for the summer’season.
