Katy Perry Fronts H&M Christmas Campaign

The battle of the Christmas ad campaigns has well and truly commenced. John Lewis made us shed buckets of tears, Harvey Nichols kept it real and advised us to avoid #GiftFace, and Burberry’s luxury celebrity-filled Christmas effort gave us all the festive feels.

Never one to lag behind in the Xmas department, H&M has pop songstress Katy Perry fronting their Christmas 2015 collection and she joins an impressive line-up of high-profile names who have previously starred in the retailer’s campaigns, including Lady Gaga, Beyonc? and model Gisele.

We love the outfits on display. From cosy Christmas jumpers (we’re coveting the grey ?Elfie Selfie? knit) to fabulous fringed skirts and a seriously glam red dress (those accompanying knee-high boots, anyone?), the collection has something for everyone – from comfy and casual to night-on-the-town glamour.

The year is ending on a high for Perry, who was recently named Forbes? top-earning female musician of the year.

?H&M was one of the places where I began cultivating my personal style,” the singer told Harper’s Bazaar. “I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years. One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cozy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget.?

Perry has also recorded her first ever Christmas song ?Every Day Is A Holiday? for the accompanying television advert, which will debut worldwide next week, on Monday, November 23rd. Given our love of?Christmas tunes, we are unashamedly excited to hear the track.

?I had such a festive time shooting this larger-than-life holiday commercial with Jonas ?kerlund, and all of the fun clothes, especially my favourite, the Elfie Selfie sweater. H&M has been a part of the evolution of my personal style since I was 13, when I would start to incorporate fun, affordable H&M pieces into my vintage wardrobe. I can’t wait for you to give your wardrobe some sparkle with this magical holiday collection,” says Katy Perry.
