Victoria Beckham is in a “carefree, happy place” at the moment and this is evident in her S/S16 Collection which she debuted at NYFW today. For Spring/Summer, she’s injected a lightness and as she said herself, a ?carefree attitude? in soft, fluid shapes and colours. Softly pleated silk skirts also feature with flowing culottes. With this includes?lightweight, wide-cut leather tunic tops and skirts as well as colour blocked suede mini dresses with sculpted neck details.

In short: the collection is heavenly, wearable and perfect for the fresh Spring season ahead.

“It’s an urban surf, not a California surf,” Beckham said of the collection. “It’s a very different attitude. It’s more about the city,’ she told the Telegraph.’ A key difference to this collection, is as the designer?acknowledges herself, is the subtle induction of print.??I’ve never really worn a lot of print before as I struggle with it but I try all these clothes on and I think we’ve made it really wearable,? she added.?”It’s a big print season for me,” Beckham said. “I’m really excited to wear this print, this urban surf print . . . I think it’s energetic and uplifting.”
