Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay Collaborate On Make-Up Collection

Today in huge beauty news, we’ve got a double first. Gwen Stefani, famed for her signature red lip, and unwavering, flawless beauty is teaming up with Urban Decay for a collaboration like no other. This is a first for Gwen who’s never produced a make-up line despite her strong beauty influence and it’s new territory for Urban Decay too who, unlike most major beauty brands, have yet to involve a celebrity in their process. You don’t have to be a make-up junkie to realise that this is what you call a match made in heaven and needless to say, we’re VERY excited. Though pop sensations may come and go, Gwen Stefani remains one of the coolest chicks on the planet; she knows what works for her and she’s not afraid to have fun with both style and beauty. Similarly, we’ve long adored Urban Decay not just for their world class products (we love their Perversion mascara, their peerless eyeshadow primer and their blacker-than-back pencil liners) but for their brand personality, their boldness and their continued innovations.

Currently we’re a little thin on the ground in terms of details but what we do know is that it’s hitting shelves stateside on November 22nd and as is always the case with these collaborations, it will be a limited edition collection. We’d be as shocked as ever if a strong red lipstick didn’t make the cut but stay tuned for more details on the Irish release!

On the subject of celebrity beauty collections, who would you like to see a collaboration with next?
