A morning of talks and discussions, celebrating the past, present and future women of Ireland, The Shona Project's 500x500 is a space to connect, reflect and step into something meaningful for 2026.

On Wednesday, February 4, The Shona Project launches the 2026 500×500 fundraising campaign, supporting a community built on one simple belief; that when women come together, girls feel the impact.

Hosted by Miriam O’Callaghan, with breakfast, conversations and stories in House Dublin, the fundraising event is a space to connect, reflect and step into something meaningful for 2026, while welcoming new members to the 500×500 community of funders.

The fundraising breakfast will recognise three women whose work continues to shape Ireland for women and girls; academic, activist and trailblazer Ailbhe Smyth, entrepreneur, educator and taboo-buster Laura Dowling and TedX speaker, survivor and future leader Destiny Ayo Vaughan.”This isn’t just an event,” says The Shona Project. “It’s a space to meet women who care about walking beside girls as they grow and learn. It’s a chance to feel the heart of a community that’s already changing lives. And it might just be the moment you choose to become part of it for 2026.”

Find out more about the Shona Project and the 500×500 community, and why it matters here.

Guests who purchase tickets before January 16 can avail of an earlybird rate of €75. After that, tickets will be €100 each. All funds raised will support The Shona Project programmes.

Tickets are available for The Shona Project 500×500 Celebration Breakfast, on Wednesday, February 4, from 8am to 10.30am in House Dublin, 27 Leeson Street Lower, Saint Kevin’s, Dublin 2, here.
