When it comes to planning your wedding, it is crucial to prepare well and shop around for a style and setting unique to you. There is nothing better than seeing your potential venue?in person, discovering your tastes and getting inspiration from the professionals and couples you may meet along the way.?Wedding showcases and fairs are excellent opportunities?to immerse yourself in?all things bridal. From photographers to florists, all areas are covered and it makes for a nice preliminary day out, for yourself and your partner.

We have selected three upcoming wedding events that you may wish to attend, each of them in various parts of the country. All three are taking place on Sunday the 18th of September, so make a note in your diary and pop along for the day!

NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM OF IRELAND

Taking place Sunday the 18th of September, from 12pm to 5pm in Dun Laoghaire,?this wedding fair will include over 25 exhibitors, who can discuss possible arrangements with the bride and groom on the spot. The museum is holding a competition on the day for one couple to win their ceremony in the Maritime Museum with no cost.

The fair will highlight a variety of local businesses from the South County Dublin area, who can contribute to all aspects of your wedding services.

INCHYDONEY ISLAND LODGE & SPA

This wedding showcase will take place between the hours of 1pm and 4pm, on Sunday the 18th of September in West Cork. Couples can meet the hotel’s experienced wedding team and discuss the many possibilities. On the day, guests can taste dishes created by Head Chef Adam Metcalf ?and view the fully dressed Inchydoney suite.

This is definitely worth a visit if you are leaning toward a coastal venue – imagine the photographs!
