Cheryl Chooses Black, Would You?

Cheryl wearing Ralph & Russo

And the bride wore? err.., black!

So Chezza chose black for her wedding, and not just any black gown? a Ralph & Russo number, to be specific. Tamara Ralph revealed the news that Ms. Fernandez-Versini (more on that a little later) opted for a dramatic black gown, which begs the question: is this the ying to her otherwise failed first marriage yang? Why the contrast? Or are we just reading between the lines too much? Personally, we think it’s a brave and brilliant move; one we here at BASH celebrate and urge more brides to consider.

If you are the adventurous type, take a gander at these other darkly romantic gowns that are Cinderella-certified (above).

On a separate note, what do our BASHlings think of Cheryl’s other bold move? Would you take your hubby’s name? Or, would you shy away from it in fear of being a 1950s housewife stereotype?
