The last episode of The Spill of 2018 is now live!

The last episode of The Spill of 2018 is now live!

Have you ever had one of those days that screamed for a wine and chats sesh with your girlfriends? Enter Image.ie’s podcast, The Spill. The Spill is hosted by our very own self-proclaimed agony aunts Sophie White and Rhona McAuliffe. With a mix of discussion on current affairs, arts and culture and some healthy advice to our listeners, it’s the best place to unwind and deliberate the issues affecting Irish women today.

It’s been a hell of a year. 2018 had more ups, downs and craziness than we can ever remember, and it gave our Spill hosts plenty of material to chat about.

As Sophie so fittingly says in her introduction to the show:

“It was the year we weathered storms both metaphorical and geographical; we saw the rise of grown adults using scooters; we survived the great oat milk drought of 2018; and finally copped that Facebook might be a bit evil”

And so, Sophie and Rhona decided to dedicate their last episode of the year to reminiscing about their biggest moments of 2018.

Discussing everything from politics (homelessness, Brexit, Repeal and #IBelieveHer all make an appearance); music (does anything compare to This is America by Childish Gambino); and hilarious internet moments (a viral Irish Twitter thread is an absolute highlight), Sophie and Rhona give a brilliant recap of what has been an incredibly interesting year.

Finishing things off with an honourable mention of their biggest losers of the year, our hosts conclude 2018 looking to the new year, and hopefully, a lot more madness to discuss.

Listen, enjoy and have a very happy Christmas!
