Our final Networking Breakfast of 2017, took place on Friday December 1. ‘A Leap of Faith’ was the theme of the morning, and our panel of women perfectly exemplified everything that encompasses ‘A Leap of Faith’. Everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast spread, heavy on the cronuts,  and plenty of coffee before settling in and listening to our incredible experts, Dara Deering, Chupi Sweetman and Geraldine Swarbgrigg.

Geraldine Swarbrigg gave us an insight into how her journey into retailing started, and what it is like bringing large retailers to Ireland. She told us what she looks for in brands when deciding to franchise, and the rapid success of Inglot in Ireland and it’s future expansions into the United Kingdom. Chupi highlighted the importance of working with such a talented team, how everyone on her team is an expert in their own field and how this has added to the tremendous success of her business. Dara Deering, of KBC Bank Ireland shone a light on the rapid changing environment of Retail Banking sector, the huge challenge that exists putting a plan from paper into practice and how she what the future of the banking industry looks like, in Ireland and worldwide.

Before everyone dived back into their regular Friday morning routine, Dr. Mary Ryan, Physician & Endocrinologist, and Elizabeth Whelan, founder of Zestivo, gave us simple tips on minding our physical and mental health during the Christmas period.  Everyone received a fabulous gift bag with a piece of stunning Chupi jewellery, divine body wash and candles from Brooke & Shoals, delicious treats from Lily O’Brien and of course beautiful festive gifts from No 7.
