Fans of the iconic Diet Coke gathered in Yamamori Tengu last Wednesday the 14th of March to celebrate the launch of the Diet Coke ‘Because I Can’ series. Among the special guests on the night were Laura Whitmore and Darren Kennedy, who helped to launch the campaign, which is designed to give Diet Coke drinkers access to a series of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to explore their passions.

DJ Tara Stewart provided the tunes for the night, going with a theme of ‘Because I Can’ anthems, while Diet Coke cocktails and Asian fusion ‘Japas’ were served to guests at the bar. The evening was a brilliant success in Yamamori Tengu, with over 50 guests including Eoghan McDermot, Grace Mongey, Paddy Smyth and Lisa Nolan all in attendance.

Laura Whitmore looked stunning for her evening of launching the series, dressed in a Joanne Hynes for Dunnes Stores SS 2018 dress, in keeping with her love of championing Irish design. She was styled for the evening by Corina Gaffey.

The evening was topped off with an interview between Whitmore and Darren Kennedy, who asked her about what the ‘Because I Can’ series means to her, and the things in life that make her feel good.

The night kicked off a run of events around Ireland as part of Diet Coke ‘Because I Can’, running all the way until mid-September. Places for the events will be available through social media by following #BecauseICan.
