Marianne’s shopping picks
It goes without saying, I love a braided leather bag. This Mango bag oozes simplicity whilst also being extremely practical with that hidden zip.
These are the white jeans I’ve been wearing on repeat.
Take the stress out of getting dressed with this ready-made outfit. Smarten the look by pairing this with a long-sleeve T-shirt and slimline sandals.
These are high up on my wishlist. Throw them on with a cropped boyfriend jean and a simple oversized tee to keep the look edgy.
This is the perfect weather for a utility jacket. I love how they have styled this piece, it would also look great over a pair of longer shorts for those warmer days.
The perfect pop of colour to add to elevate your spring wardrobe.
I’m very excited to start wearing sandals again, in particular this pair. Brown is extremely easy to style this season, it adds the perfect depth to a lighter spring outfit.
The perfect top to throw on with your favourite jeans. I’d size up for that relaxed look.
I love a simple denim look for an evening out. A longer length straight leg jean looks great with a heel and a simple strappy top. Add an oversized blazer and a simple shoulder bag to keep the silhouette interesting.
Dungarees are making a high fashion comeback and I’m very excited about it. This style is very current with the long slouchy fit. Pair a long sleeve plain tee and some Birkenstock clogs and you’re spring ready.
Thinking about heading away to the sunshine over Easter? Get in early with this extremely chic two-piece. Wear as a set or pair the top with your favourite pair of jeans coming into spring/summer.
It can be easy to fall into a style rut. The simplest way to change that up is to swap your trusty jeans for some cargo trousers. You can style them the same way you would jeans. They’re one piece in my wardrobe I will have forever and they look great with so many items in my closet.
Denim on denim will forever have my heart. This dress is for a lunch date with the girls, some strappy sandals (for when it gets warmer) a pair of black sunnies, and an oversized clutch. Put together without trying too hard.
Cropped style jumpers are really having a moment. They’re easy to style and fuss-free. I would wear this with my washed black high waisted jeans and a simple black low heel boot. Spring ready (yet still warm).
I’ve worn these jeans so much over the last few years. They look great with a heel, slide or trainer. Longer length jeans really help exaggerate the leg if you’re a little on the shorter side. A must-have in any wardrobe.
After a long winter of jumpers and coats, you may feel uninspired or stuck in a style rut. Freshen up your wardrobe with this Acne cobalt blue wool scarf. I picked this up last week and have been styling it over my dark coats for a pop of colour.
Colour is set to be big news this year. Style this amazing green jumper with blue jeans, chunky boots and your favourite trench coat.
Speaking of favourite trench coats… this one looks perfect for spring/summer.
The perfect straight-cut coat to elevate the simplest of outfits.
Okay. These may be the coolest boots I’ve spied in a long, long time. I’d wear these with a simple beige trench buttoned-up and rollneck. Let the boots do the talking.
We all know I wear my The Row banana bag a few times a week and this COS bag is a very good high-street alternative. It comes in both black and beige and is an extremely practical bag that lets you run around town hands-free.
