?Tis the season of musically festive (cheesy) cheer and we darn well love it. Though there’ll likely never be a tune to top the timeless Mariah Carey track or an album that comes close to Kelly Clarkson’s utterly delightful Wrapped in Red, we’re all for embracing new Xmas music.

Katy Perry is the latest songstress to compete for the top spot on our Spotify Christmas playlists with her aptly titled ?Every Day Is A Holiday? track, gift wrapped especially for H&M. Perry is the face of the fashion brands? Christmas clothing line and decided to record her first-ever Xmas song to debut alongside it.

The two-minute clip has everything you’d expect from a Katy Perry much video tinged with snow: mistletoe, candy canes, toy soldiers and a rather hot topless dude in a Santa hat holding a kitten. If you think he looks familiar, it’s because he’s previously appeared in music videos like Taylor Swift’s Blank Space. And yet again, the Internet is all ?Perry Stole Swift’s Music Video Man? (a legit headline). Talk of the rumoured squabble is irritatingly boring at this stage, so can we please make it about the music?

The video a pure cheese-fest, with Perry dressed as a magical Christmas fairy singing an undeniably catchy chorus. Now we’re all giddy and happy as we remember the big day is, after all, less than a month away.
