What the celebs and IT girls are wearing FROW, that’s front row, don’t you know?
We all know the action happens off the runway, too. Now that London Fashion Week has just wrapped, we’ve been taking notes on what the bloggers, celebrities and IT girls who are worthy of the frow have been wearing. Presenting the on-point fashion lessons we’ve learnt from this lot?
1. Daisy Lowe at Giles
The crop top doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Wear it with high-waisted pieces and loosely tailored jackets so you don’t feel like you’re showing too much skin. Pointy heels add instant sophistication.
2. Molly King at Pringle
Elevate a casual blank canvas of black and wardrobe staples like jeans and a t-shirt with a wide-brim fedora and suede coat. Push up the sleeves for extra cool factor.
3. Rosie Fortescue at Daks
Have fun with fur. From chubby scarves to furry bags, to full on fur coats, a touch of plush will give your outfit a quirky spin.
4. Erin O’Connor
Cropped flares get a frow make-over when paired with a luxe printed black coat and sparkly flats.
5. FKA Twigs at Verus
There is a lot of head-to-toe black front row, as always, but it can be interesting. Look for different textures, materials and subtle embellishments.
6. Laura Whitmore at Fyodor Golan
Mismatched prints are still a workable option. Floral and graphic prints find their place with a gorgeous colour scheme of burgundy and forest green. Bare legs and an uber-short mini give it a youthful vibe.
7. Charlotte De Carle at Jean-Pierre Braganza
The tailored suit is back with a vengeance – even out of the office. Put away the stilettos and embrace runners with a blush-pink suit to thread the line between girlie and tomboy cool.
8. Alexa Chung at Erdem
What is it about Alexa that she can make us crave the simplest of wardrobe items? Man up and follow suit like Alexa with a grey oversized blazer and jeans combo. A quirky clutch and loafers add some fashion personality.
9. Petra Palumbo at Antonio Berardi
You can never go wrong with jeans or a classic denim jacket, but one way to look more fashionable this season is to test out denim in unexpected ways like in blazer form. It instantly dresses down a party dress.
10. Candace Lake at Roksanda
Work unexpected colour combinations – who knew mustard, brown and black could look so chic? Start by incorporating a pop of colour in your next neutral outfit.
