Who doesn’t want to steal Victoria Beckham’s style these days? That effortless chic she’s now known for is built?around a few key items that can be mixed and matched with ease.?Here’s how you can get her look.
Buy a white shirt
Beckham has reimagined the classic white shirt as a smart casual throw-on. There’s nothing fitted or uptight about?it. She makes it look as comfortable to wear as a T-shirt, and mixes it up with glamorous skirts as well as trousers and trainers. This oversized shirt from & Other Stories would replicate Beckham’s look nicely. I love the rolled up sleeves.

Choose a?cosy polo neck
Both ribbed and fitted or chunky and oversized, Beckham understands how sophisticated a simple polo neck can look. It’s the key neckline of this season too, so think about investing. There’s something so luxurious about winter white, so I love this classic sweater from Massimo Dutti.
?Swap skinnies for wide-leg trousers
Beckham has really embraced fluid tailoring in recent years, particularly wide-leg trousers. They ooze Katharine Hepburn-style chic. I love how these wide-leg pants from online retailer Uterque are slightly over-long. They’d look wonderful worn with either the white shirt or polo neck above.
Try a full skirt
Beckham loves the swing of a full skirt. Most recently she’s opted for simple pleated skirts, but she’s also explored asymmetric hems and?cocoon shapes too. I really like this midi box-pleat skirt from Zara. I’d choose a size up so it hangs just a little lower, at mid-calf length, and wear it with a pair of knee-high boots. The leather buckle detail adds a nice finish too.
Invest in a jumpsuit
Beckham’s red carpet glamour is no longer the over-the-top Cavalli evening gowns of years past,?but?tuxedo-style cocktail wear. The one she’s wearing in the opening image for this piece is from her own label. Like her daywear, Beckham’s eveningwear has been pared right back. This bandeaux jumpsuit from Topshop would look great for day worn over a fitted poloneck.
