You Need Urban Decay’s New Liquid Lipstick In Your Life

You Need Urban Decay’s New Liquid Lipstick In Your Life

One wouldn’t blame you for rolling your eyes at the premise of a liquid lipstick; in times gone by they left a mark – and not in a good way. The pigment was awful, and lips were left permanently’dry and partially stained thanks to half the gloss coming off midway through the day. Thankfully, in 2017, they have evolved. Liquid lipsticks are now they are having a moment (in the UK alone, they are so popular they’ve overtaken red lipstick sales-wise). So, what’s all the fuss about? They slick on like a lipgloss, dry like a lipstick and stay on like a lip stain (minus the bad dry, flaky side effects). And thanks to their handy applicator, they can be applied sans lip liner. I’m already a fan; they glide on and can be applied fairly seamlessly on public transport – the ultimate idiot-proof test – and the latest range from Urban Decay – a foolproof brand in itself – is the best yet.

Urban Decay’s new Vice Liquid Lipsticks come in 30 shades but the most impressive thing is their formula; it’s waterproof and trust me, it’s not going ANYWHERE until you take it off – there’ll be zero transfer.

And it’s also extremely comfortable to wear; it’s deeply pigmented and quick-drying but non-drying – tip: if you do need an extra hit of moisture, a small amount of lip balm pre or post-application will hydrate accordingly – and they come in two finish?variations,?Comfort Matte and Metallized (ideal for day or night wear).

I wore just one shade and was hooked – it stayed put all say and there wasn’t a dry, chapped lip in sight. Plus, the budget-friendly pricing will ensure you buy every shade that catches your eye.

The?Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipsticks are available to buy now from Debenhams.ie at approx. €16 each.?
