The cat-eye look has gotten a much-needed upgrade. Make-up artist Erin Parsons shows us how to master the trending fox eye

Since WFH, many of us have opted for minimal makeup, so we can look our best with the least upkeep.

The latest fox eye trend jumps on this wing-tipped bandwagon, creating a quick and easy way to zhuzh up your eye-makeup routine.

Gigi Hadid’s makeup artist and Maybelline extraordinaire, Erin Parsons, recently shared a simple tutorial on how to get the latest look.

What you need

To recreate the fox eye trend, Erin used:

  • Maybelline’s HyperEasy Liquid Liner
  • Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water
  • Pointed cotton buds
  • Maybelline’s Tattoo Studio Gel Pencil in Polishes White

You can use the above mentioned materials or your own favourite precision tip black eyeliner and white eyeliner pencil.

How to create the look

Start in the inner corner of your eye and make a thin outline with black eyeliner.

Then move to the outer corner and, from the edge, extend a low line upwards to just before your brow ends. Then connect to it from the lower lid.

Clean the lines up with the micellar water and a cotton bud and fill in the remaining space with white liner.

It’s an easy way to elongate the eyes and accentuate their shape fuss-free.
