You can now stay in Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment (complete with her wardrobe)

If, like many of us, you’ve spend hours of your life admiring Carrie Bradshaw’s Upper East Side apartment in Sex and the City, the good news is that it will be available to rent on AirBnb for a short period in celebration of the show’s 10-episode reboot, And Just Like That.

Although the apartment in the show was just a set, the team at HBO have recreated it, complete with her iconic walk-in wardrobe and its contents, and her desk by the window. The apartment will be available for one-night stays on November 12 and 13, and booking opens on November 8.

Carrie Bradshaw herself will welcome guests via a video recording, and the stay includes brunch in Chelsea, and the chance for a try-on session with Carrie’s wardrobe.

Sarah Jessica Parker said, “The Carrie Bradshaw character is near and dear to my heart, and revisiting her world for the continuation of the Sex and the City story has been such a joy. I’m excited for our audience to experience Carrie’s New York like never before and walk in her shoes, quite literally, for the first time.”

Other key details like Carrie’s landline which featured so heavily in the show and the palm-leaf patterned bench at the end of her bed are also to be found in the apartment.

The important question is to decide how you would spend 24 hours in Carrie’s apartment? Go on a date? Meet pals for cocktails? Type up a column musing on the meaning of it all?
