Ireland has been proving itself to be quite the foodie destination for quite some time now, and we can’t think of a better way to spend the summer than enjoying all the delicious goodness the country and its people have to offer.

Whether it’s a pop-up event hosted by a world-renowned chef, or a meeting of minds in celebration of community, we love an excuse to sit down around a table and bond over the magic of food.

Throughout the coming months, there are plenty of food-focussed events taking place throughout the length and breadth of the country that are sure to draw a salivating crowd. We’ve rounded up the cream of the crop, so if you’re partial to an outdoor food experience, here’s where to head…

The George Motz Pop-Up World Tour

Thursday 19 May, Dash Burger, Urban Brewing, Dublin

Bringing his signature smashed burgers to the people of Dublin and beyond, filmmaker, author and burger guru George Motz will be serving up his take on the historic Oklahoma onion burger at an outdoor cookout this month. You can expect live music from great DJs, craft beers on tap and a fully stocked cocktail bar.

There’ll be plenty of talks, tastings and demos taking place throughout, as well as music and live performances from DJs, brass bands and live acts. Chilli eating challenges are on the cards, and the new addition of long table feasts for the 2022 instalment of this fantastic foodie fest.
