As well as that, the bar will be in full-service – as will the Big blue Bus – ?and DJs will be on hand to provide relaxing vibes while you keep your belly full, your spirits high, and spend them dollars. Luas have partnered up again this year with Inner City Helping Homeless for the Christmas Shoe Box Appeal 2016. Last year was the first time Luas teamed up with Inner City Helping Homeless and ran the very successful event to collect shoe boxes for the homeless at Christmas time; which were then distributed by Inner City Helping Homeless directly to people on the streets at night time and through the numerous shelters across Dublin City. If you wish to donate please drop in your shoe boxes to Connolly Luas Stop, Thursday 8th December, between 7am-7pm.
Below is a suggested list of contents for the shoe boxes:
Socks
Underwear
Tooth paste / Tooth brush
Roll on Deodorant
Shower Gel / Shampoo
Hand / Body Lotion
Chocolate / Sweets
Female Hygiene Products
Please, no aerosols, hand sanitizer, mouthwash, razors, perfume or after-shave. For sorting purposes please mark your shoe box with either Male or Female Adult and/or Male or Female Child.

Gossip Folks is the latest collective to bringing you cultural events around the city. This coming Thursday, December 8th, they will hold their inaugural?Missy Elliot themed exhibition in Tropical Popical. James McGuirk has created a series of original typeface prints that will be on display and for sale?on the night and cocktails will be provided by Fever-Tree. Today, December 3rd,?The Terenure Village Charity Shop in support of Women’s Aid?are holding their ?Designer Daze? event.?The shop sells donated designer clothes and bags, gifts, and books. The event will raise much-needed funds for Women’s Aid. Games and raffles will be held?throughout the day, making it a fun-filled?event for all the family. All proceeds raised in’the shop go towards the Women’s Aid National Freephone Helpline and Support Services which provide support and information to women experiencing domestic violence.
