A special edition of the Bernard Shaw market will take place today from 1pm - 9pm in preparation for Halloween. In need of a last-minute costume? The Halloween night market will be stocked with unwanted costumes as well as vintage finds, food and drink in the chilled surroundings of the outdoor terrace bar. There will also be a prize for the best costume on the day as well as a pumpkin carving contest and bobbing for apples! Join family, friends, and neighbours for a night of fun at The Cauldron of Smithfield Halloween?fair in Smithfield Square. Organized by Dublin City Council, This is a perfect event for young children (and older ones) as there will be face painting, bouncy castles, a haunted house, and plenty of entertainment. There's plenty on offer for parents too with lots of bites and drinks (non-alcoholic) available from local brewers and bakers.?This year Dublin city council have added a zip lining to the list of activities available on the night. Over the course of Sunday and bank holiday Monday, spectators and avid listeners will gather in some of Dublin's most unconventional venues - including museums, coffee shops bookshops and key tourist sites all over Dublin City - who?will play host to 20 of Irelands best 100 emerging acts. Just turn up at your favorite venue and enjoy the music!

Guts Magazine and Bram Stoker Festival have come together to bring you a Halloween magazine and event in celebration of all things blood and guts. Join concept band Spudgun?who will be celebrating their love of the red stuff by performing and MCing on the night alongside readings from?the ghoulish Seamas O'Reilly, Louise Bruton, Sarah Griffin, Tim MacGabhan, Jeanne Sutton, Ellen Tannam and Simon Ashe Browne.
