Watch: The New Cold Feet Trailer Is Here

It. Is. Officially. Happening. The legitimate return of the now cult series Cold Feet. Fans, rejoice as the moment you’ve been waiting for is here…. a sneak peak at the new season teaser trailer. Did I mention we’re excited?!

The short clip will have you feeling nostalgic to the extreme as we watch Adam (James Nesbitt) joined by his old friends on a plane, but it isn’t quite what you think. The beloved series will soon be returning to our screens after a 13-year absence (yes, we feel old too) in the form of at least eight episodes this autumn.

Adam returns from working abroad to be reunited with his old friends and after that, we have slim details on what the series will have in store. What we do know however is that?Robert Bathurst, Hermione Norris, John Thomson, and Fay Ripley will all be reprising their roles as Pete, Jenny, Karen and David.?Sadly, one key character won’t be making an appearance – Rachel, played by Helen Baxdale?- after being dramatically killed off but producers have hinted at a possible tribute episode to the character, so we wait to see what happens.

?This feels like the right time to revisit these characters, as they tip-toe through the minefield of middle age!,”‘said creator Mike Bullen.??They’re 50, but still feel 30, apart from on the morning after the night before, when they really feel their age.?They’ve still got lots of life to look forward to, though they’re not necessarily the years one looks forward to!?

The show centred on the lives and relationships of 30-somethings in Manchester and was remade in over 30 countries around the world. The show ran for five series from 1998 to 2003, drawing in an audience of over 10 million for the season finale.

Watch the teaser below and get re-watching the box set in time for the new series this autumn:
