WATCH: Laura Whitmore, Imelda May, James Blunt and more come together for International Nurses Day concert

Some of our favourite artists have come together for an International Nurses Day concert

International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12. It marks the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, who was born 200 years ago today.

The celebration holds special significance this year as nurses around the world respond to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Artists and activists alike are going the extra mile to show their appreciation today and this surprise concert, organised by the not-for-profit Hospitality for Heroes, is just one of many tributes being paid to nurses on the frontline.

Laura Whitmore hosts Clean Bandit, Zara Larsson, Melanie C, James Blunt, Imelda May and more in this joyous virtual event. Enjoy.
