This video of a dad dancing with his son to Let It Go will make you smile

Sometimes, the internet can be a joyous place. Yes, sometimes it can show us the very worst of the human condition, but other times, it can show the finest. And this video does just that.

The video, which has gone viral, depicts a father and his four-year-old son singing and dancing to Let It Go, the hit song from the Disney movie Frozen. The father and son duo, who hail from Norway, perform in their living room while wearing matching Elsa costumes.

It makes for some entertaining and heartwarming viewing but it’s the message the video sends that is most important. In an interview with CBS News in the US, Ørjan Burøe said his son loves Frozen and he decided to try and see the film through his son’s eyes.

In the interview, Mr Burøe said: “It’s important to embarrass yourself and let it go — a lot of people use social media in a negative way … I think it’s more important to give them something to make it happy.”

He said his son loves Frozen because Elsa is a strong character and children don’t judge someone by their gender, adding: “Just like kids don’t see the colour of skin. He just sees something that’s great. For him, Elsa is a superhero.”

The main message that Mr Burøe wanted to teach his son is that it’s ok to be different, saying: “It’s important to teach children that you can do whatever you want to do, and not put prejudice all over them. Soon enough you will find out who you’re going to be in life.”

We think this video is the best way to brighten your day. And remember; it’s always ok to be who you are.
