Last night, Tuesday May 10th, multi award winning Dublin eatery, Pichet celebrated the relaunch of the venue hosted by foodie favourite, Roz Purcell and head chef and co-owner Stephen Gibson. The restaurant on 15 Trinity Street has undergone a transformation complete with a new bar area, marble finishes and fresh branding.

Almost 100 guests attended the relaunch and upon arrival drank President cocktails (Appleton v/x rum, Pedro ximenez and noilly prat vermouth with black walnut bitters and zesty pomegranate syrup) and music from DJ Gordo. Guests ate three courses of tuna and avocado with soy ginger dressing, sesame and horseradish, white onion risotto with’shortrib?and?pinenut gremolata and set lemon cr’me with raspberry, meringue and basil.

Host Roz Purcell was in good company on the night with guests from the worlds of food and fashion in attendance. Among them were Brendan Courtney, Emma Manley, Giovanni Viscardi and Ali Dunworth.

Andy McFadden, head chef at Pied A Terre, London will be the first to participate in the restaurants latest initiative Friends of Pichet. This sees previous colleagues of head chef and co-owner Stephen Gibson known for their outstanding culinary feats return to Dublin for one Sunday guest service each month. McFadden will offer his own menu on Sunday, May 29th .
