Christmas came early for a host of Ireland’s best-known faces and media at the official launch of Newbridge Silverware’s Christmas Emporium at its award-winning visitor centre, Co. Kildare on Tuesday evening.

Guests who attended included Irish rugby star and Newbridge Silverware ambassador Rob Kearney, model and fashion stylist Celia Holman Lee and model and TV presenter Glenda Gilson along with over 40 national media and well-known faces. Other guests on the evening included Snapchat superstar James Kavanagh, James Patrice and radio presenter Sean Munsanje.

At the event, guests were treated to a selection of seasonal canap’s from the award-winning Silver Restaurant at Newbridge Silverware including Smoked Duck Breast with Cranberry and Pea Shoots, Smoked Salmon and Mini Toasts with Capers and Dill and Melon with Parma Ham. Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without something sweet and on the menu for dessert was a twist on the traditional with Mini Mince Pies and Miniature Christmas Logs.

Rob Kearney gave advice to guests on choosing the perfect Christmas present for the modern gentleman and TV personality and etiquette expert Noel Cunningham shared his advice for dressing your ?Christmas dining table.

This year, the 2016 Christmas Display exhibit at the Museum of Style Icons features the Santa suit worn in the original Miracle on 34th Street starring Maureen O?Hara, as well as Margaret O’Brien’s pinafore from Meet me in St Louis and the fire guard from Scarlett O?Hara’s home in Gone with the Wind.
