Dublin Fashion Festival kicked off with a bang this week and fashion enthusiasts have been treated to a?huge variety of catwalk shows and designers presentations over the course of the festival. Last night crowds gathered at Central Bank on College Green to celebrate The Young Designer Of The Year which showcases the best young talent in the world of fashion here in Ireland.

JJ Donnelly from The National College of Art and Design was chosen as this years rightful winner who received? a??2,000 bursary from West Coast Cooler to help her to complete her first collection.

With over 250 retailers, restaurants, bars and hotels taking part in the event each year, DFF is Ireland’s biggest fashion event. In the past, the festival has included the city’s 8 flagships: Brown Thomas & BT2, Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, Powerscourt Centre, Arnotts, Ilac Shopping Centre (including Debenhams), Jervis Shopping Centre & Penneys and also independent boutiques and high street stores.
