See who attended the first RHA X gala on Friday night

On Friday, November 15, the first RHA X launched with a gala event in the Royal Hibernian Academy, with guests from the international art and fashion worlds.

RHA X is a collaboration between world-renowned fashion designer, Roland Mouret, and the acclaimed Irish-based visual artist, Dragana Juriši?. It opened with a special preview of the immersive installation animated personally by the artists.

This exclusive preview was followed by an evening of Perrier Jouet Champagne, as well as cocktails from the French wine-based aperitif, Lillet. There were also canapés by the five-star boutique hotel, Dylan, as well as goodie bags with exclusive skincare products from London-based skincare brand 111 Skin.

President of the RHA, Abigail O’Brien, and Director of the RHA, Patrick T Murphy, welcomed guests including senior curator of fashion for the V&A, Oriole Cullen; as well as international art consultant and journalist, Fru Tholstrop.

Film producers, Hamish McAlpine and Carole Siller were also in attendance, as was stylist Aisling Farinella and fashion designer Joanne Hynes. Other guests included Niall Gaffney, who is the CEO of IPUT Dublin Real Estate, Annie Fletcher from IMMA, designers and TV presenters, Brendan Courtney and Sonya Lennon, as well as interior designer Roisin Lafferty.

RHA X is a ground-breaking international art experience, which will evolve year on year. Sponsored by IPUT Real Estate Dublin, RHA X creates a third space; an intersection between cultures, perceptions, aesthetics and art forms, inviting the audience to connect through a shared immersive experience.
