Will Smith fans were out in force this week for the Irish premiere screening of his latest blockbuster film Collateral Beauty.

Guests on the night included Fair City actress Jenny Dixon, Roisin Tierney Crowe, Shane Morgan from The Three Tenors who took time out from his current nationwide tour as well as beauty guru Triona McCarthy and her partner Will Whit. Afterwards, attendees were taken to the nearby Morrison Hotel for a drinks reception.

The film, which is tipped to be one of the hottest movies this Christmas, is set to be released nationwide on December 4th and stars Will Smith and Helen Mirren as well as Kate Winslet and Michael Pena.

The film tells the story of Will Smith who plays a successful New York advertising executive who retreats from life after suffering a great tragedy. While his concerned friends try desperately to reconnect with him, he seeks answers from the universe by writing letters to love, time and death. But it’s not until his notes bring unexpected personal responses that he begins to understand how these constants interlock in a life fully lived, and how even the deepest loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty.
