Well-known faces from the world of television, radio and modelling stepped out on the pink carpet at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on Wednesday evening for the glitzy opening night of Grease the musical.? The show stars?Tom Parker, from boy band The Wanted as Danny, Over The Rainbow winner?Danielle Hope?as Sandy and EastEnders? & Strictly Come Dancing’s?Louisa Lytton?as Rizzo.? It will continue at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre until Saturday 12th August.

Among those watching Danny and Sandy fall in love all over again on the night were: Deirdre O Kane and daughter Holly, radio presenters Adrian Kennedy, Colm Hayes, Dara Quilty and Philip Cawley as well as models Kerri Nicole Blanc and her daughter Kayla, Ursula Kelly and her daughter Hannah Corcoran, Fair City actress Aoibheann McCaul and Weather Woman Audrey McGrath, James Patrice Butler and Siobhan O Connor and Anne Doyle.

The production is the original high-school musical, featuring all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including?You’re The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted To You, Sandy, Greased Lightnin??and much more.

The show is in town for a strict two-week run so throw your mittens around your kittens and hand jive the night away with the show that’ll make you want to stand up and shout, ?A-wop-bop-a-loo-bop, a-wop-bam-boom!?
